My favourite tuna place in SG! Special takeaway menu on their IG. Appreciate they pack the raw fish separately from the rice, this way the food quality can be maintained. Maguro cubes still fresh, cold & juicy. Rice as fragrant as usual. This Maguro Don(150g) is 15.80+ only! Upsize available at 10$/100g. What you see in the photo is 250g and I can assure you 150g has huge portion, I just like having more. Very satisfying

Wah, no wonder this is golden thumbs up. High quality sashimi topped the delicious rice. I can’t decide which to eat first while which to save for the last. Every single piece is SO GOOD! Money well spent

Tried this for the second time and found the sliced sashimi had become thinner (?) Still pretty fresh though. My fave has to be the prawn which came with natural sweetness. Chawanmushi, karaage and miso soup are also part of this set meal. Very good deal you can get in the CBD area!

Returned here to try their premium well done set to cater those who dont eat raw food (like le bf). Pretty impressed with the variety of the ingredients considering the price tag. Quite like the fried oysters, but I still prefer the raw version that emphasises on the quality and natural flavour of the ingredients. Personally didn’t find this memorable, but still value for money!

Are you team cooked food or raw food? Have a choice of either with Kuro Maguro’s 2 seasonal sets that are only available till 31st May 2020!

Being a huge fan of raw seafood, i chose the Kaisen Chirashi Meshi Set which was an assortment of raw seafood in a bowl, with Anago, Salmon, Maguro, Kanpachi, Negitoro, Crab Meat, Ikura, Prawn & Mussel! This was so enjoyable, as everything was so fresh & delicious! For those that prefer cooked food, you can go for their Premium Well-Done Set that is also priced at $19.80++.

Each set comes with Chicken Karaage, Chawanmushi, Miso Soup & fruit and it’s available for both dine in and takeaway as well.

If you’re not as into raw food, Kuro Maguro now has this new bowl that is topped with a variety of cooked ingredients - fried oyster, grilled unagi, mussel, octopus, tamagoyaki, tuna, steamed crab and whitebait. It’s also served along with a flavourful chawanmushi, crispy chicken karaage, fruit and miso soup. Hits and misses for the toppings, but pretty value for money for what you’ll get!

For the sashimi option, there’s the Kaisen Chirashi Meshi Set ($19.80) that was initially a limited time offering, but it’s back on the menu now.
