and.. yes, you can partake that blue pea flower. together with grilled ribeye beef and locally farmed green combi of ulam rajah, spinach mustard greens and imported vined tomatoes. textured greens were even more refreshingly after a tossed in soy ginger vinaigrette. coupled with the marinated beef and burst of tomatoes sweetness, it was really a party in your mouth! yums! just one of the special collaboration of @ediblegardencity x chef deming @kushgrillsg at the first ever #festivalforgood in singapore coming weekend at timebre+. limited number of plates, so remember to #dineforgood and pre-order to enjoy $2 off @ ediblegardencityxtimbre.peatix.com

Luscious salted egg yolk sauce, over a tender, 24-hour buttermilk and spice marinated chicken thigh which is coated in a crisp cereal oat batter, sandwiched in fluffy sesame seed burger buns.

Launches today at both Kush, Timbre+, and over at The Quarters!

Featuring a spread of affordable mod-Sin fare here at timbre+, Kush – a short for Kushiyaki – specialises in charcoal-grilled skewers as well as pairing our humble Southeast Asian spices and ingredients with international classics. My picks include the Salted Egg Fries (loved the curry leaf-infused, strong salted egg flavours in the dipping sauce) and Soft Shell Chilli Crab rice bowl that comes with an onsen egg and sambal kangkong.

Many thanks to chef-owner Deming for hosting us, and Eleanor for extending the invitation!

There are really too many choices and it was hard to decide on one stall, not to say one dish. We narrowed it down to Kush, which specialises in skewers.
Here are the Skewer Bowl B 🐔 ($10.80) and Beef Rendang 🐮 ($14.80), both came with Japanese rice, sambal kang kong and onsen egg. Sad to say, I was not too impressed by both dishes. The egg for my dish was too cooked and the meat wasn't exactly hot (heated).
