This is a small quaint bistro along North Bridge Road . Extremely cosy and affordable pricing . The pulled Goat curry is excellent . Focaccia bread is fresh and tasty . I like the tempeh pizza as well . An experienced Italian chef who also specialised in Mediterranean food . I love the place and will definitely come back again .

Newly opened along North Bridge Road, @labocasg is a Cuban fusion bistro bar with comforting food and well-priced drinks. I’m no expert at Cuban food, so it’s pretty much a blind foray into the cuisine, but I generally enjoyed the strong flavours that were put on the table.

This rich seafood stew came with squid, prawns and mussels, and a crisp soft shelled crab right on top. Root vegetables like carrots and taro stewed till soft also have this hearty dish more character. While a little salty, the flavours were nicely rounded out by the addition of dill and made for a great dip for the crisp focaccia.

Pulled Goat Curry on Flat Bread ($21)

House speciality of newly opened @labocasg which serves up a Cuban-Caribbean fusion food. Curry is more aromatic than spicy and goat’s meat was tender without the gaminess. Love that the flatbread is crisp and thin so that it’s less carby.
