Available from Monday to Sunday, the set dinner menu is priced at $68++ per pax which in my opinion is extremely value-for-money for the spread that you are going to get.

Diners will have an option between three starters which we chose the Sautéed Prawn & Chorizo that is cooked in a white wine sauce and complemented with pine nuts. Soup is next and you can choose between the Champignon & Truffle or traditional onion soup, the former made with a potage base and served with brioche croutons. The mains will follow thereafter with five different options such as the signature Confit De Canard and Chateaubriand (a top-up of $38 is required). The former is a crispy duck confit paired with a Valencia orange reduction while the former is a 200g grain-fed beef tenderloin fillet steak. Lastly, end the meal with desserts and a cup of coffee/tea. My overall assessment is that at $68++, you are not only getting a multi course meal at a fanciful restaurant, there’s the picturesque surrounding environment for a perfect date night.

Can’t remember the name for this but it was $78. Not much lobster for the hefty price tag but I must say it was fresh and juicy. The pasta surprised me with its flavour and al dente texture. It was one of the rare times when I actually finished the whole serving of pasta. They also served complimentary bread (a tiny slice of sourdough and a mini baguette) which was fluffy and fresh. The baguette was just right, crunchy in the outside and super fluffy on the inside. I surprised myself by finishing all the bread too.

Also pro tip: sign up for their loyalty service (qr code is on the placemat) to get 20% the ala carte bill!

Main course: Beef tartare, served with sourdough and truffle fries. [supplement $12]

My yolk was a bit over cooked, it was not as flowy as I’d like it to be. But enjoyed the blend of flavors from the seasoning on the finely diced beef and the visible capers, onions, gherkins and that punch from the mustard and the hint of Worcestershire sauce.

3 course option at $55.

Starter: Sautéed prawns and Chorizo [+6]

Grilled prawns, garnished with chopped chorizo and thinly sliced ones, topped with pine nuts, served in a rich crustacean stock that you have no trouble soaking up with those toasted buttered sourdough.

3 course option available at $55. Choice of desserts include creme brûlée and mousse au chocolat.

I could eat eggs anytime of the day, but breakfast is when I savour them most. La Brasserie's Eggs Benedict sees two plump poached eggs coated in hollandaise atop toasty English muffins draped with your choice of ham or smoked salmon. Faultless and so satisfying.

Breakfast at Fullerton Bay Hotel is a luxurious experience amidst plush, sun-lit surroundings and an indulgent spread of local, Western, and even gluten-free options. Take your pick from the buffet, or order extravagant a la carte dishes such as the Egg Surprise Special. Braised Wagyu beef cheeks for breakfast anyone? Melt-in-your-mouth hunks of fall-apart meat surround a wobbly sous vide egg begging to be burst in a bath of truffle infused meat jus. This is almost too rich for my first meal of the day, but I'll throw caution to the wind for anything that delectable.
