We can’t stop raving about their beer battered fish and thick cut French fries! The Atlantic Haddock was the least fishy and we enjoyed every flakey and fresh bite so so much!

This dish comes with a side of mushy peas and tartar sauce (hold onto your ewwws when you read about the mushy peas). This fresh and creamy mushy peas are like the upgraded version of baked beans served in an American breakfast. We definitely recommend giving this British styled Fish and Chips a try and we advise you to QUEUE EARLY. We reached at 12pm sharp on a Saturday afternoon and we were left with the last table.

The fried Atlantic Haddock Fish & Chips we had at Maxwell Food Centre from Lad & Dad.

Pretty delicious Fish and Chips from Lad & Dad, one of the hawker stalls which serves this ultra crispy plate of fried Atlantic Haddock along with crispy fries and mushy peas. Another worthy option to try if chicken rice is not your calling that day.

Enjoyed my bacon and chip butty: imagine bacon, hashbrown and sunny side egg with a runny yolk sandwiched in a soft bun. Their beef stew with mash is pretty good too.

The father and son combo at Lad and Dad offer an iconic English bacon and chip butty ($5) to hungry diners. A devasting deludge of texture and flavor, you get crispy hash brown and bacon tucked into a fluffy buttered roll topped with a fried egg that hits all the right spots and more.

⚖️: If you have space, order their beef stew with mash potatoes. Its eyerollingly delicious

Tried the beef stew ($10) and the bacon n chip butty ($5). Both were delicious although a bit pricey but I Guess it is still value for money! Never tried the ones in England before so I can’t rlly compare, but still enjoyed my experience here!
