We also tried the 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄 ($19). While the beef chunks were tender, the gravy could’ve had bolder flavours. Thumbs up for the creamy mashed potatoes as I could detect real potatoes inside.

I felt the Beef Stew was a bit of a hit and miss, but the Fish & Chips is definitely a must try!

Lad & Dad’s 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 & 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 has often been hailed as one of the best in Singapore. It comes in two sizes, 150g ($19) and 300g ($29).

The beer battered haddock was firm and flakey. Encased in a shatteringly crispy batter, it was sensational. The tartar sauce enhanced its flavour, while the thick cut fries were excellent complements. I didn’t fancy the mushy peas, though.

This Beer Battered Haddock fried Fish, has to be one of the best fried fish I ever had, the Batter was so crispy and tasted so damn good, my taste buds felt Battled.

The haddock Fish was also silky smooth within.

Fries were to a crisp, and was not soggy whatsoever.

Large portion @$29 comes with an additional Chunk of Beer Battered Fish.

Had the Fish & Chips ($19, small) and Scampi & Chips ($19). Fish was huge and well-battered, and the flesh was moist and flaky. Dip it in the tangy tartar sauce and just savour every bite. Wow. The thick cut fries were also crisp and I loved the mushy peas. PLEASE give the peas a try. On the other hand, while the scampi were plump and crunchy, I felt there were too much batter and grease going on sovI eventually ended up stripping the batter away and just enjoying the scampi as-is.

Overall, you won't regret satisfying your fish&chips cravings here.

Not bad! The beer battered haddock had a super crunchy batter, fish was meaty and p moist. The coated thick cut chips were surprisingly good, I usually don’t prefer thick cut chips as they tend to be soggy but this wasn’t, it’s thick but flat and has a nice crisp to it! The tartar sauce could be tangier, it didn’t make much of an impact. The mushy peas are quite strongly pea, but it tasted better the more of it I had. Texture was a mix of mash + pea bits so it was quite nice, like a haphazardly mashed avo! It’s nice but on the pricier side. If you want to share a large, do take note there is a min order of 1 food item person, so that’s why we got this + onion rights. The onion rings weren’t great, was crisp and onions were decent too but somehow it was q average.

This beer battered Fish & Chips (Atlanta haddock) is delicately executed and non oily, one bite in and you can hear the sharp crisp. Plus its so meaty you know you got the real deal. Also, it's unique that it comes with mushed peas (not a big fan but a healthy addition)
$16. This store knows what it's good at and focuses on it
