Signature Mille Crêpes and Green Tea Mille Crêpes

Handmade crêpes layered with ethereal light pastry cream. We ate it layer by layer to truly enjoy this delicate dessert. Both flavours are equally amazing. I personally prefer the green tea as the slight bitterness of the green tea powder balance out the sweetness of the cake.

Comprising of Royal milk tea mousse and a base of chocolate sponge, this seasonal cake is only available till 31st March! ✨ And yea... that’s the end of this month! Calling out to all royal milk tea fans, do mark your calendar now and try it before it ends! Though prices at LadyM are on the steeper side, the seasonal cakes have almost always never failed to disappoint me, and this new royal milk tea mousse cake was certainly impressive and surpassed my expectations (partly due to my bias liking for milk tea as well🤭)! 💖 The smooth and creamy royal milk tea mousse was decadent, luscious, with the characteristic flavour off Darjeeling and Assam tea here carrying off a pleasant lingering aroma with subtle floral hues.🌸 One bite and I was sold! 🥰 Crowned with a chocolate medallion (perhaps to blend in with the ‘royal’ theme 👑 ), the base of chocolate sponge was soft and fluffy, coming with a bittersweet cacao flavour that complements the fragrant royal milk tea mousse. Dear @ladymsg , please consider having this as a permanent flavour! 🙏🏻🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️ .

I’ve forgotten just how good Lady M’s mille crepes are. In fact, it’s actually been about 6 years since I last had anything from this establishment. But man, wolfing this down had me wondering why I’ve missed out on their desserts this long.

The Marron Mille Crepe, which comes at $9.50 per slice, is a testament to the adage that hard work pays off. Crepe pancakes, chantily cream, marron bits, painstakingly assembled layer by layer, gather to unleash one of the most satisfying textures you’ll ever get in a cake. I imagine constructing this dessert to be tedious and time-consuming, which makes me appreciate it even more.

The only shortfalls to this though, were its steep pricing and that the flavour of the chestnut is too faint to discern. I couldn’t get the unique sweetness of a chestnut. But otherwise, this was pretty marvelous. I’m planning a next visit as we speak! (8.1/10)
