Ordered a few zi char items from my friend's zi char stall for a celebration at home. Prawn paste chicken was honestly AMAZING. Battered & fried to perfection of a bronze brown, and marinated long enough to taste the goodness of the prawn paste & it was really just awesome. No complaints! Yam ring & salted egg chicken were not bad too. Do give them a try & ESPECIALLY THE HAR CHEONG KAI if you're around the area!

So glad that I've a very decent Cze Char stall near my house. Lao Ban Niang Zhu Chao (老板娘煮炒) serves affordable and good grub. A pity the location doesn't get much human traffic. Hope they stay open.

Lao Ban Niang (lady boss) Jeanette is very passionate about food. She goes to fishery port at 1am to buy fresh fishes and is very strict about food quality. We love the assam fish head. They also make their own yam rings and deep fried to a crispy basket. Burps!
