Youtiao, stuffed taupok, dried cuttlefish, century egg (sauce separate)

The standard rojak (Set A) is good, but this mixed grill set is even better! Everything grilled is extra crispy and you get to dip as much (or little) sauce as you want.

The highlight here is definitely the grilled dried cuttlefish, which is especially fragrant with its smoky flavour!

Bought $3 rojak and add century egg $1. Q can be up to 30mins during peak hours. Especially love the tau pok, they grill it using traditional coal griller!

[Dunman Road Food Centre] How many Chinese Rojak stalls you can name that's serves an excellent plate of this salad? Just like how our culture is formed, every component into making this rojak plays an important role, from the grilling of the youtiao, types of fruits used and the technique behind mixing the sauce with the ingredients. Lau Hong Ser Rojak is one of my top 3, together with Hoover Rojak and Silver Stream Rojak. Waiting time can be horrendous at a minimum of 30 mins but it's all worth it once you sink your teeth into it. It was so good that I ordered a takeaway portion for my family members to share. I think the rojak is the quintessential reflection of our nation as different cultures come together to form a harmonious family. #hawkerpedia

Passionate genius or obnoxious fusspot? Well, it depends on which end of the hour-long line you're on. In this day and age, which Rojak Uncle would insist on toasting and grinding his own peanuts, make his own chili, toast his you char kway (Chinese crullers) over charcoal fire before tossing them in imported the best heh gor (shrimp paste) from Penang - one order at a time and mixing it like it was his last. The answer is none except for this man here. As I dig gleefully into what could possibly be the best Rojak in Singapore - thick well-balanced smelly yet peanuts sauce with warm and toasty tau pok and you char kway and cut fruits - the man in the background waited much longer before he was called upon to collect his plate. Oh did I mention that the Rojak uncle also insists on opening his stall from 4.38pm to 1.38am for reasons only known to him. So you decide which label is appropriate. | #food #foodcourt #rojak #streetfood #sgig #dinner

This was quite nice! I liked the charcoal grilled taupok best, and the prawn paste sauce was good as well! It was rich and not too sweet, with a viscous consistency. We didn’t wait too long for this as we had it during an off-peak hour.

$2 rojak accompanied by creamy century egg and crisp cuttlefish. .
