I’ve been wanting to try this 20-layer cake! Exactly like how you’d imagine a choco peanut butter cake to be. Cake was ordinary but i love the frosting! Cocktails were pretty good too. Wna try the mains some day 😋

$24 // lmao wished for cake and got WAY more than i could have ever asked for. 10 alternating layers of chocolate devil’s food cake and peanut butter mascarpone, 2 of my absolute favorite flavors and also my guilty pleasures!! the cake was fudgey and moist and the peanut butter mascarpone cream cheese frosting was great as well and it was covered in chocolate ganache, which was the perfect cake combination, but idk who thought it was a good idea for a 20 layer cake, and why did i think it was a good idea too lol. ate and ate and ate and yet we barely made a dent in the cake, even though it was SUPER good. (and we were so sick of it at the end to even think of bringing it home as a takeaway, and i also noticed a lot of other tables didn’t finish their cake as well) i guess this is a novelty thing, but if u plan to eat this, i recommend u bring a few more people and be super hungry before coming 🤪🤪

but the ambience at lavo was amazing, such chill vibes against the backdrop of singapore’s skyline and the setting sun!!!

A pound of ground wagyu, veal, Italian sausage. Served with whipped Ricotta.

Unfortunately, this was not the case of “bigger and better”

Ordered set lunch which included Salad, pasta, Dark chocolate caramel tart and ice lemon tea. - all very delicious
Breakfast pizza - i love the crispy crust alot!
Truffle fries - not nice. No truffle taste or smell :(

The crispy chicken breast wasn’t dry and I asked for a non-spicy version, the menu advertised it as spiced chicken breast. The staff were very friendly to accommodate my order. The waffles were abit more nua that expect but still the fluffy kind! It might not look like it, but it was very filling! Didn’t manage to finish it! Even planned to get the 20 layers devils chocolate cake but I had underestimated their chicken and waffles!!🤣

The view from Lavo is so refreshing! My parents usually hated the sun but they spent some time looking through the telescopes to spot buildings in the CBD area.
