Chirashi Don - A decent bowl of Japanese rice topped with chopped salmon, tuna, scallops, squid, salmon roes etc and a splash of shoyu. At the lunch price of $14.00, the serving is pretty generous and the variety is commendable. The wide variety of sashimi provides a different experience in each bite (e.g. chewy squid, tender salmon etc). However, the sashimi could possibly be tad fishy for those who are sensitive in that department.
All aside, the prawn head miso soup has a deep and savoury favour - A good try.
The Chirashi-don at the Bistro has a lot of heart; and is possibly the most reasonable one ($15) on the entire strip. Awesome Maximus.
