2nd time here. Would always order the Ramen with broth which is super shrimpy yet light that you could keep slurping it without getting jelak. Personal favourite of mine (not in pic) is the Dry Ramen with Mala flavour. So so good i keep thinking about it. The sourness from the vinegar makes me want more and the mala has the perfect amount of shiokness and I can feel the numbing sensation. 💯

Loved the al dente noodle texture here with the appetising tang of the chilli vinaigrette. It had a pretty good heat as well. Had the Ebiko Prawn Paste Shrimp Ramen ($15.50) as our other bowl, hence picked the prawn dumplings as the topping for this. The bowl came with 4 of them! I actually liked these big dumplings much more than their prawn paste, for it was generously filled with juicy prawns and pork. They were firm and crunchy, and were of much better value!

Have been wanting to try Le Shrimp and recently snagged a ShopBack voucher for this bowl at half price, so I finally got around to having a meal there! Was expecting a better crunch of the prawn paste, but they definitely used a good amount of prawns in them. Thought our noodles were a little overcooked and could have done with a better bite, but what won us over was that broth. It was thick, slightly creamy and rich, packed with the sweetness from the prawns. Also enjoyed that touch of char in the broth. I’ve got to say that it can get a bit heavy after awhile - had this shared with the dry chilli vinaigrette ramen, and I’d recommend to do that too!

Lovely broth with many layers of taste. First the Umami sweetness, followed by the sweetness from the vegetables. Very light and comforting, addictive ebiko prawn paste and must try the prawn dumplings.

Ramen cooked to perfect al dente.

The broth was thick and a tad too salty and also a burnt taste. Wasn’t sure was it from the cabbage with blackish edges. Ordered the (6pcs) Ebiko Prawn Paste Shrimp $15.50 and (4pcs) Prawn Dumplings Shrimp Ramen $14.50. Ebiko prawn paste was crunchy but we preferred the prawn dumplings which were more flavourful. The add-on side warm beancurd tasted meh.

Located at the basement of Vivocity is this ramen shop that specialises in shrimp-broth ramen. We were impressed by the hot flavourful broth, one can definitely recognises the distinct prawn taste in every sip. Paired with thin threads of la mian, this bowl has become our new comfort food! As for the dry version, it’s more on the spicy side due to the chili vinaigrette sauce. At first try, we were taken aback by the choking taste of the chili. So, do avoid if you are not a fan of spicy stuffs. When deciding between the dumplings, shrimps and ebiko prawn paste, we would highly recommend you to give the ebiko prawn paste a try! It is super flavourful, firm and bouncy. Coupled with the ebiko bits in the prawn paste, it gives this ball of goodness a juicy bite! As the shop also offers tonkotsu broth ramen, we would most likely give it a try the next time we visit.
