PSA yoji replaced by orh-ni, coconut remains but yoghurt? Replaced by yam

Literally the closest patisserie to my house, yet never found the time to visit until now lol

Slight tang from the banana, and there's the choco-banana taste GG on from the hazelnut ganache layer. Need a bit more crunch, and the flavours could have been more pronounced.

Take note they only open at 12noon

Popped by Lee’s Confectionerybecause it’s the only patisserie in Jurong and ya’ll know I love my desserts.
Tried their Kuri ($8) Kuri is a 🌰 chestnut dessert made with milk chocolate, chestnut and Dango (mochi)! It was quite an interesting dessert with a whole mix of textures!!
Lee’s Confectionery is quite the humble hidden patisserie where owner Lee Yin Quan makes everything from scratch by hand; each plate is crafted to order for you 🍽 I hope more nice stuff comes to Jurong HAHAHA

Verdict: 9.5/10

Creamy, nutty notes of comfort in a cup, perfect for a rainy weekend. 🌧️☕ Oh, how I've missed the simple enjoyment of a cup of @tionghoespecialtycoffee, executed beautifully by @lees_confectionery 🤗❤️ Weekends should always be filled with moments like this!

The cakes are a work of art in themselves, can't wait to share them with you guys in another post! 😋🌈🌈🌈

Diamond in the west!

$8.00 each.

Ordered items online for takeaway during circuit breaker period. Price may looks slightly pricy for a neighborhood bakery. But this is worth the price.

There’s always room for matcha desserts. And if you’re a matcha lover, this dessert is for you. Westies, there’s no excuse for you not to try Lee’s Confectionery DALE v2.0 ($8) dessert.

Pieces of soft matcha sponge cake are held together atop a reconstructed biscuit base. It has an uncanny resemblance to a little bush with a moss-like appearance. Within it lies a luscious green matcha white chocolate ganache that nicely oozes out.

This multi-textural matcha pastry is more than just one of your photogenic desserts. The matcha flavour was clearly evident yet it wasn’t too bitter or sweet, making it palatable for most. The crumbly, buttery deconstructed biscuit base added another dimension to the dessert.

However, I felt that the matcha overpowered the orange peel paste (it’s not necessarily a bad thing) and the orangey taste was relegated to that of a very subtle aftertaste. Not sure if it’s just me.

It’s my third visit to Lee’s Confectionery but it’s the first time I’m having their matcha creations. Guess third time’s the charm.

Limited edition item.

Can’t stop thinking about the delectable, photogenic pastries at Lee‘s Confectionery.

Located in a largely quiet area in Jurong East, the cafe exudes chill and minimalist vibes. Most of their pastries are a blend of East meets West as seen in the ingredients that are used. They are rotated seasonally and new creations are introduced from time to time. Even on my second visit I had yet to try the famous DALE matcha cake.

TART was essentially a refreshing take on the classic tarte au citron. Using an almond tart shell, it’s filled with lime cream and a spongy lime almond cake, instead of the obligatory lemon curd. Topped with whipped white chocolate ganache, it provides a sweet ending to the rather sharp and sour taste of lime.

What’s good about the tart here is that it isn’t unbearably sour. This makes it a refreshing treat for dessert lovers as many tarte au citron I had can be exceptionally sour. Credit must be given for the painstaking effort that’s put by the team into making and plating each dessert for each diner certainly puts in on par with many fine dining establishments.

Any dessert lover would definitely fall in love with this place. It’s worth the detour.
