After chancing upon this bakery for a quick bite the first time I knew there was a need for a second visit! However the selection of sweet breads I tried here were a little disappointing after the high expectations the first visit left me! Levure Naturelle has good soft bread texture and consistency but the fillings and flavor was a little too sweet and artificial, the very generous chocolate filling felt like the sugar to cocoa ratio was way to unbalanced (tending towards more sugar) and the matcha flavor just felt artificial instinctually. I liked the coffee and cheese combination with better flavors! On my next visit I would try the dark chocolate bun and more sweet cheese breads (beetroot cream cheese sounds interesting) before deciding whether the bakery does a better range of savory breads.

$1.80 not the cheapest bakery around but prices are competitively reasonable (bread talk standard) & taste great 😍 (even when I got them around closing time, bread still tasted πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»)

These cushiony soft, sugar-dusted moist sponge cakes filled with a generous amount of light whipped flavoured cream in the centre, were a hit with my whole team at the office.
Between the Hazelnut Cream and the Custard Cream flavours, I preferred the former. The latter was good as well but oddly enough, we detected a faint whiff of durian in the custard. Hmmm....
For those who can't live without chocolate, you'll be glad to know they also have it in Chocolate Cream.
