Liang Chuan Fishball Minced Meat Noodles (Clementi 448 Market & Food Centre)

Was craving for some minced meat noodles, and I am glad that this bowl from Liang Chuan Fishball Minced Meat Noodles did its job. I got their middle sized portion for $4.50 and it came with quite a handful of ingredients and noodles. The noodles were springy and were well coated with their signature chilli sauce.

Their chilli sauce is definitely their highlight, due to its strong umami flavours coming from grinded shrimps. The chilli has a good heat as well and was not too spicy. So darn addictive!

The meatballs and minced meat were all pretty tender too. Definitely a bowl to satisfy my BCM cravings!

To many people, this might just be a 32-year-old fishball noodle stall in the Clementi Hawker Centre, but this stall has a special place in my heart. When I was around 15 years old (about eight years ago), a friend and I had fishball minced meat noodles for dinner. Afterwards, we went all the way to Taman Jurong, only to realise that we had left a laptop behind at the hawker centre. We quickly took a cab back, and to our greatest relief, the aunty from this stall had been safekeeping the laptop for us when she realised it was left on the chair. Today, I had this bowl of kway teow for dinner again, and she still remembers me (shows that my face really didn't change much)! The smile on her face was so heartwarming, as I thanked them again for keeping my laptop safe all those years ago :) #hawkerpedia

$2.50 - $3.00 . Decent bowl of noodles in clementi. I recommend ordering the pure Bak chor mee version as their minced meat and meatballs taste better than their fishballs and fish cakes. I have been eating at this place since 15 years old and there was even once my fren left her laptop here and the Aunty safe-kept the laptop for us until we came back for. Whenever I drop by clementi in the afternoon, this bowl of noodles is a must.
