Lilac Oak

The 𝙂𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙪𝙟𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙥 ($16.90) really surprised us with how good it tasted. Consisting of brown rice 🍚 with sweet potato 🍠 as well as a plethora of veggies, mushrooms and tofu, the different textures and flavours came together to form a harmonious and healthy bowl 🍲 of deliciousness. Shoutout to their kimchi from @pickingonveg because it was SO yummy 😋 we wiped the bowl clean!

To top it off, the 𝙄𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙖 𝙊𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 ($8) made with @oatside 🥛 and @naokimatcha 🌱 and truly this was a match(a) made in heaven. This drink was absolutely delicious, the oat taste wasn’t overwhelming and enhanced the umami flavor of the matcha instead 🥺

And knowing us, you know we couldn’t resist ordering their 𝙃𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙨 ($6.80) along with their vegan gelato 🤭 We went for their 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙣𝙪𝙩 and 𝙑𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 ($5.80 𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥). While the gelato 🍨 was on the sweeter side, we must say the waffle 🧇 was quite outstanding! It was super crispy and had a slight chew (from the flaxseed), we thoroughly enjoyed our vegan dessert.

🍵 Iced Matcha Oat Latte ($8 / $9.50 via Grab)
Made with Naoki Matcha’s Barista Blend, this is a really solid cup of matcha. It is earthy and intense, and the natural fragrance of the oat milk makes the drink even more aromatic and delicious.

🍲 House-Special Bibimbap w/ Sweet Potato Rice ($16.90 / $20.90 via Grab)
This wholesome bibimbap bowl is filled with sweet potato brown rice and topped with seasonal vegetables, grilled tofu, housemade sauteed kimchi and housemade gochujang. The gochujang provides the dish with just enough saltiness and all the different veges and toppings further enhance its flavour. This was very satisfying!

Pink guava sorbet is very refreshing and portion was pretty generous! Added on their chia seed cone, but tasted more like black sesame seeds to me.
