OMO BEST PIZZA ๐Ÿ• (as of recent)

I know, I knowโ€ฆ I super LATE to this. But forgive me as I only having it NOW - and itโ€™s not too late to rectify if you have had @linorestaurantโ€™s Burrata ($28) Pizza. I added mushroom for an extra $6. Pizza still remains vegetarian ๐ŸŒฑ

For our second main item, we ordered the braised lamb shank, a dish with a huge piece of lamb served atop a tomato-based broth with white wine and pieces of pancetta mixed into it. The lamb was great as there was a fairly generous amount of meat and it was pretty tender as well. Furthermore, the dish doesn't taste pretty gamey, although we felt this was largely because the gravy was really heavy and you couldn't taste much of the lamb meat itself; instead, you will taste mainly the tomato-based broth with every bite you take. We would have loved to have some parts of the lamb shank not covered in the broth!

Cannellini beans were served along the sides, although we were not fans of the beans as they reminded us of baked beans to some extent (but slightly sweeter). The dish costs $36++, which is fairly reasonable for lamb shank at a restaurant. Overall, while the meat was great, we liked our pancetta pizza more!

Lino was fairly crowded even on a Monday evening, which took us by surprise although it's certainly a sign of the restaurant's popularity! Do make a reservation if you are planning to head there. :)

After having been impressed by Lino's first outlet at Binjai Park, we decided that we had to try their second outlet at The Forum, which is in town and arguably more convenient. We ordered the Pancetta pizza, which is a chef's recommendation at Lino, and uses mozzarella for a cheesy pizza base. Naturally, the pizza is topped with a generous serving of pancetta (cured pork), and it comes with potatoes and a sunny-side up! You can break the egg in the middle and spread the yolk around all the pizza slices, although it does mask the salty taste of the pancetta to some extent. The pizza is sprinkled with a decent amount of grated parmesan as well, so the dish is pretty cheesy overall. The pizza was pretty filling when we shared it between two, since the dough was fairly thick and it was rather heavy as well (not the fluffy kind of dough).

Pretty satisfying main dish for $28++ and we would be happy to try this again, although we might explore the other pizzas on the menu first!

LINOโ€™s new outlet at Forum, boost a more extensive menu with exclusive cocktail selections.

An interesting dish will be Pollo Al Mattone ($36) which means โ€˜roast chicken under a brick. Though it isnโ€™t served under a brick, the succulent chicken is prepared using the traditional Italian method of pan-roasting, giving it a crispy chicken skin.
