From the Burpple community

A good combination of tangy tomato passata, with creamy burrata rolled in pesto sauce. Never have thought this would turn out to be quite decently good. Even better because it's 1 for 1 on burrple!

no words. calamari was fresh, and we rly rly enjoyed the pizza and truffle fries!!!!!!!

Truffle baked mac was quite bland and truffle flavouring wasnt strong at all

Waitress recommended this and said this is to die for and we fully agree! Love the crust and pesto sauce :)

Ordered burpple 1-1 Mixed Meat Pizza ($24) and Truffle Macaroni & Cheese w Bacon Crumbs ($15.50) // totally forgot to see the price damn should've ordered smth more expensive to max the benefit 😅 we ordered Spicy Wings (6pc $10) as well - appetiser is a MUST haha.

Total damage: $41.20

Food:
Honestly not very impressed and worth if it's not for the 1-1. Adding tabasco to the pizza really enhanced the flavour, but the dough is not fluffy so it's q tiring to chew and swallow after a slice or two. Mac&Cheese was rather dry, pretty average I'd say. Spicy wings wasn't as spicy as I imagine but it's still tender!

Experience:
Not fantastic..
- waiter called us in by knocking on the glass door for our attention(I find it rather rude) instead of coming out
- They provided other tables serving plate but not our table so we had to ask for it
- We ordered water and asked twice for our water to be served but they keep forgetting...
- General vibe is chaotic, noisy, messy (I'd blame it on the relatively lower ceiling that echos all the concurrent conversations)

Overall, it's worth a try if you have the 1-1 or want to be loud and rowdy with your friends for a gathering or smth.

*this picture doesn’t do the pizza justice but I couldn’t wait to tuck in so...
Tried 2 pizzas (meat lover and burrata) and the burrata was hands down our favourite 🤩 though there wasn’t any meat, this pizza was really worth it especially with the Burpple deal. The cheese was really creamy which balanced the acidic tomato base (the burrata cheese was the only cheese on the pizza). The pesto gave the pizza a slight herbaceous, garlic nutty taste which I love!! the slight saltiness from the cheese and I think they added additional salt gave the pizza additional flavour.

Overall well balanced dish!

However, there was a long queue. Had to wait about 30min (but it’s understandable because it was a Saturday night). it felt as if the staff were tryna chase us out tho the queue died when we were halfway through our pizzas. Might not be the best place for one to have a long more than 2h meet up instead it’s more of a short dinner date.

Would rate a high rating (9/10) for the burrata pizza since it was simple but good however due to the ambience and fast paced vibe overall
7.5/10

Would defi go back tho!
