The only themed cafe that I’m truly excited about because it’s based on my favourite cartoon – Care Bears!!!

Open today until end of March, the pop-up at @kumoya_singapore offers photogenic snacks, mains, drinks and desserts, such as this vanilla pudding with freshly churned strawberry and Hokkaido milk soft serve, chocolate sable, meringue kisses and a strip of rainbow candy!

Flashback Friday to this cute kitty and her orchid wonderland of self-inspired nosh. Definitely one of the most memorable accounts I've worked on this year!

A simple snack of cheesey sausages wrapped in puff pastry and complemented by a Japanese sesame dip. Presentation, full marks – it fits the rustic nature theme of Hello Kitty Orchid Garden so perfectly.

Don't know if I should have posted this cos some people said it looks like worms. But please ah, crispy fried anchovies by any other look would taste just as good, and even better when they're mixed with seaweed crumbs, crushed chilli padi and three different grains (medium-grain white rice, Korean black rice and barley) a la Masizzim's DIY rice balls.

The question now that remains is: do you wanna build a snowman?

How adorbs are these birdy babies?!? *-* Almost too cute to eat, but of course, eat them I did. 😈 Started with the head, too.

Their baked bodies are shaped from flaky pastry, their bellies filled with white lotus paste.

Kinda looks like a Swiss roll, too, actually. There's tuna, sweet pork floss, ham, mayo and seaweed rolled in a soft, airy bun. It's huge and comes in a set of three thick slices!

Took advantage of their buy-2-get-1-free promo and brought these three baby pies home. Buay pie-seh, had to cut one of them up to deface one of them for this shot 😂😂. Anyway, I find that 3 minis make a nice meal – not too filling, and there's variety in flavour. The pastry for all are 👍👍, buttery and flaky, just the way I like. The green curry is a bit too starchy, but the coconutty taste is yums; chunky steak has a generous helping of beef cubes, albeit a little dry; chicken & mushroom was unexpectedly good, its creaminess reminiscent of a rich carbonara.

Teehee, don't you think the two red dots on the pastry make it look like a face? Whatever it is, the filling was quite disappointing – see how half the shell is hollow too?
