Ramen
I was slightly elated to learn that ĀTO opened an outlet at Marymount Community Club recently, providing some dining options to the visitors to the facilities.
Initially, I was not too sure if the Ramen could surprise me considering its price of S$9.90 with Chashu, Ajitama and black fungus added into the pork broth with thin noodles. Little did I know that the noodles were made in-house and cooked on point for that touch of quality.
As much as I would have yearned for more intensity in the broth flavour, I could not deny the fact that this was already an acceptably-good bowl of Ramen with a sweet price of under ten bucks.
Pretty small space with 20 seating capacity, can't wait to slurp the broth clean! O-o-oishii!
#DontSayIBojio 300 bowls of ramen are going FREE TODAY! Choose between Miso or Shoyu base for your ramen! We preferred the Shoyu one which was more flavourful even though it could be a little salty. But the al dente noodles made up for it.

Delicious ramen, with refreshing Lemon Soda.
I like my ramen spicy and this is right up my alley. The noodles are thin and doesn't absorb the soup even after some time and this is one of the main reason why I like eating Ramenplay's ramen. Soup base is so flavorful, the spicy minced meat is also yummy on its own but I usually stir it. With every mouthful I include a little spring onions, noodles, soup and sometimes the minced meat. I savor the egg with its runny egg yolk 🍳 last as I personally think its quite 'oily' but all is good. Recommend this to all spicy ramen lovers 😋
You can't help but wonder how a soup so swimming pool-clear can hide all that intense chicken flavour. Maybe it's because the ex-Marutama Ramen chef who owns this place, knows a spell or two. Or maybe it's because he uses hormone-free Sakura chickens and brews it for 4 hours, along with dried scallops, dried shrimps and vegetables. Whatever his method, I'm sold.
Starring a long strip of melt-in-the-mouth pork belly glazed with caramelised yakitori sauce. Noms.
Rich and flavourful broth with thin noodles, finished with an egg which still has a molten centre.

Both a little too salty... But this seems to be a really popular place amongst friends.
So good that it has become a weekly fixture.
