Never Again
Yes, it's as sad as it looks. Limp, oily, and the service size is just too small.
Not juicy, nor tasty. A real let down.
This was just okay for me. On the upside, the chop was really tender. I think it was boiled before grilled. But the flavor combo was to bland for me.
Skinless longganisa was slightly on the sweet side (hamonado) vs the preferred recado type. Egg undercooked - you can still see the gooey thingy near the yolk part.
Lechon was not that crispy. Weird sweet and sour sauce, no liver sauce. Kang kong was servsd cold. And look at the state of the rice. Menu said it was garlic rice. Huh. Could have fooled me.
I told Ninong it's nothing special. He kept on insisting. I wad right. Disappointing.
This was the only thing I was disappointed. Aside from the maki not looking rolled to perfection, I found the rice a little dry and lacking of sushi seasoning. Not enough sweet and sour.
This is not the first time I've eaten here, and it's not the first time I have been disappointed. The marinade of the shawarma was not for me. It was rather on the sour spectrum. And the beef was not too tender. Not to mention the service sucked. My friend EA enjoys the food here though, so I suppose it may be a matter of preference. But the service really sucked.
Eh. Nothing.
Beef belly with coleslaw and dirty rice. I enjoyed the rice. Not so much the barbecue. And I don't even think it was belly.
Dry and lacking in taosi flavor, sweetness, and spice.
The good news is that their weren't a lot of bones in the bits. The bad news is, it lacked the Taosi flavor.
