Burgs.

After all this time (since the Freshness franchise left our shores), I'll still proclaim that this is my favourite of all cheeseburgers.

[CANDIED BACON. How good does that sound?] A well-seasoned beef patty and omgahhh-candied bacon strips makes this burger worth returning for 😍

Burger dinners two nights in a row is something I've never done before. But it was a good chance for me to compare everything I had tonight to what I had last night. Patties-wise I actually preferred last night's? Only because I thought this one was a bit dried out and harder in texture. That said, neither of the two burgers made the cut for me. I'm still searching for that elusive SEASONED beef patty in my burger!! 😪 the plus-points about this burger were: the bacon strips (omg so good).

Was really hungry and had a semi-burger craving when I walked past this place. I get really disappointed at places like Bergs, which sell burgers with patties that aren't seasoned. I mean ok I get that I'm supposed to taste beef and that the burger comes with a special house sauce and whatnot but a bland beef patty is a bland beef patty. I appreciate flavour, not just taste. Perhaps the next time I come across a burger place like this with unseasoned beef patties, I'll make sure to ask them to add a little seasoning to my burger before they prepare my food :(

Crossed borders and went to JB City Square the other day with Yiggie who did some 'research' on what to eat and found a review on this burger. Place was empty when we walked in and I was feeling a bit apprehensive about it. Plus, the girl who took our order behind the cashier was also the same person who made our food. So I started to lower my expectations a little. The burger turned out alright. For the price we paid, it was considered affordable. At the end of it all, I was simply glad we gave it a try. Never try, never know, right? ☺️

I say 'probably' because I can't remember what I had but this definitely satisfied the burger craving then.
