Sitting on low stools enjoying our desserts. Looks like tau suan but it's stickier and sweeter! Featuring @yeojess legs and hand.

Recommended chicken pho. The pho ga we had on the first day had better soup but the chicken here is unbelievably palatable!

Special egg milk coffee! Like tiramisu on top of Vietnamese coffee. Worth a try in spite of the price! 40,000dong (SGD$2.50).

Just down the road from the bun bo stall, is the extremely famous fried eel stall. Different types of cooking styles to match the main ingredient--fried eel. However, my sis wasn't very delighted with the fried eel vermicelli. She mentioned how standards have dropped since her last visit.

There were two dessert stalls side by side but this one was noticeably more popular and brightly lit. Also more variety compared to the one I had in the afternoon. Cost between 13,000 to 17,000dong (SGD$0.80-1). I just can't seem to get enough of this dessert!

Supposedly the best beef pho in Hanoi. Little beef, no herbs provided and even less beef taste in soup. Total disappointment.

Found a secret alley of local food hidden within their business district! We ordered banh canh, thick wheat noodles with fried fish and pork (front) and bun rieu cua, vermicelli with pork (back). Sorry if I got the names wrong, this involved a lot of pointing here and there.

Local dessert just a few stalls down from lunch place at 7 Ngo Trang Tien. Couldn't get the name but it's a mixture of sweet corn, tapioca flour, chin chow, coconut milk, shredded coconut and ice. VERY VERY GOOD! Only 10,000dong (SGD$0.60)!

Beef bun bo, 55,000dong (SGD$3.50). This was a fond memory from my previous trip and now a delicious reality. A symphony of flavours!

"Only one dish in our restaurant--grilled fish. Price 170,000VND/person. Drinks not included. This restaurant is house on the second floor, above what seems like an empty house. However, many tourists are aware of this well-kept secret.

Our tarts with coffee and strawberry watermelon lassi. So full but I'm sure there's still space in our tummies.
