This is one colorful yet flammable dish! A little too sweet for my liking but definitely worth a try!

Salsa Salsa ($12.50) Baked Chorizo, Sautéed Mushrooms, Spinach, Tomato Salsa and Egg Yolk. Served with Sliced Brioche Toast. Their Sliced Brioche Toast is so soft!

A good selection of sweet and savory that comes in a three-tiered birdcage. Scones, carrot cakes, chocolate cake, strawberry cake, cupcakes, mushroom tarts, mini burgers, salmon with bread, sausage and dragon fruit tart. This high tea set also comes with a pot of tea. The taste of the food was decent. I would come back again for this high tea set, the portion is too generous for two people.

Price $37.70

Sautéed Scallops on Japanese Somen Noodles ($18.00) @museamusesg Hokkaido Scallops, Somen, Beetroot Dash, Confit Egg Yolk, Purple Tuille.

Here's a spot to bring mum on your next girly weekend together. Relax in the Tea Lounge's library-like ambience (check out the bookshelves packed with literary tomes) and indulge in a languid afternoon chatting over tea and truly delicious high tea fare. The Weekend High Tea Buffet ($61) offers not only afternoon tea classics like scones, finger sandwiches and dainty desserts, but also a stunning selection of savouries including Asian dishes like chili crab with mantou, chicken rice, satay and king prawn congee with dry scallop and goji berry — perfect for mamas with Asian palates! Finish off on a sweet note with an Earl Grey creme brûlée and their delightful scones. The tea selection is pretty extensive too, so clear out your entire afternoon for this buffet.
Avg Price: $65 per person

Finally had myself seated in here after passing by so many countless times for some me time. The cafe was filled with working adults having lunch; vibrant environment. I went straight for the crustacean bowl,($27.90) making the calories so worth it. Beneath all the gooey goodness lies, generous servings of poached lobster meat, cavier and unami like waves of ocean sweeping through your palettes. Add a little serving of hot sauce and I was sold. The combination was amazing. I'm not a usual fan of carbs but I finished what I was served. Not subtle a hint enough? You need to try this. Finish off the meal with a pot of hot tea. How can food taste so orgasmic; epitome of food porn. I loved every bite of it. *Salivates*

Even though there was a queue at 1:00pm, I didn’t have to wait long as bowls of ban mien was served to diners at a fast rate. Naturally, I went for their signature, the Dry Chilli Ban Mee ($5), and I was clearly satisfied at the end of it. The dry chili mixture brought a slight spicy kick and after mixing it together with the poached egg, black fungus, fried shallots, minced meat and anchovies, you are in for a comforting lunch. The choice of these simple ingredients complimented with each other, and in the process, able to make the entire bowl shine brightly in the spotlight.

Prata is the quintessential trans-boundary food that is loved by many from different countries. It can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even supper. In recent times, many prata houses have started experimenting with the ingredients that go into a plain prata by adding things like cheese, chocolate and many others. In my opinion, Springleaf Prata Place has got to be one of the more successful ones. Their Portobello Mozzarella Prata ($5) is so good that it's like an Asian "pizza". What's more, they have specific curries to go with the type of prata you ordered - a sign of quality and attention to details. Have I made you hungry yet?

I've been a regular at Siglap for the last 3 years and have completely missed this gem. Like its name, Plaster Blaster was a blast, combining the best of breakfast choices - prata & eggs benedict. Pro-tip: add a dash of curry to every bite. That combination of the runny egg yolk and rich curry is memory to behold!

It's the best chirashi don I ever had in Singapore . The fish was fresh as if it was just alive a few moments ago before I eat it . The portion was generous and the service was good. We almost ordered the same kind of sashimi that was already in the chirashi don but luckily the waitress reminded us. Their another side dish which is ikura oroshi is also superb and underrated . Who could have thought the mix of yam paste and ikura would be so refreshing. Yummy! Would def go back when I m craving for Japanese food!
