Had my reunion dinner at @CrystalJadeSG Prestige restaurant last year. This is the latest culinary concept by #CrystalJade, and just started its operations in January 2016. I was seated by the window, with a fabulous view of the Marina Bay Area, served by a team of attentive and professional staff. Simply perfectó!

Here's me posing with their gigantic chopsticks that diners use at this place... Kidding. This was to be used to #louhei. Hehe~

Hence, "年年有余" is wishing someone that one will have more than what one needs (Eg. Wealth, health, friendship). Hence, due to the identical sounds of 余 and 鱼 (fish), this makes the latter an important dish to have during Chinese New Year dinner.

In this case, it is a container of yummy snacks, made using fish and seaweed. It isn't the lunar new year yet but I'm on to my 2nd bottle! 😂 Eating these all by myself!!! It is that addictive and delish!!
(And yes, that's my Chinese surname). 😘

And that waiters usually face them all in this way as well.

Seems like a lot of restaurants (standalone and hotel) cater to a minimum of 4 pax at least, or even 10 pax at least. If you know of any restaurants in #Singapore who caters to just TWO PEOPLE on CNY eve for reunion dinner + #louhei (X-course set meal preferably), please comment below! TIA!
