A little disappointed that theyโ€™re now further from their original location in the East but Iโ€™m glad they did because now theyโ€™ve got a wider reach AND theyโ€™re also on Burpple Beyond so YAY ONE FOR ONE!

Got the Grapefruit Genmaicha - I loved how intense the genmaicha was, with a subtle bitterness; while the grape oolong was easy to drink with its delicate sweetness.

I loved their rose lychee raspberry ($7.20) too! Pricier, but I liked how the rose tea was light and well-balanced with fragrant lychee and a slight tartness of raspberry.

More manageable crowd than its first outlet tho it was still quite a bit of a wait. Smooth but a little too milky for me overall, and well, $$.

This cold brew, with orange juice and soda) was refreshing, light and easy to drink even for non-coffee lovers.

Sweet fragrance of lychee with just a tinge of tartness and surprisingly refreshing. Enjoyed it though it reminds me of a fruitier yakult/ vitagen. A little pricey but I hear only fresh fruits are used + itโ€™s yoghurt soooo hereโ€™s a healthier option to quench your thirst!

The double espresso(?)-based drink was pleasantly light and easy to finish with no hint of acidity, paired well with aromatic elderflower syrup and the mint aftertaste was a lovely touch. It actually didnโ€™t feel like i was drinking coffee and the combination reminds one of a refreshing summery tropical drink, feels like itโ€™d make a nice cocktail๐Ÿ˜‚

Will be happy to try the other drinks next time Iโ€™m around Kovan.

The brown sugar milk tea was not too bad, flavour was pretty strong (and so also slightly sweeter than Iโ€™d like), we liked the chewy pearls.

But still prefer the Dong Ding Oolong. We were there around lunch time on a weekday and while it didnโ€™t look crowded, the wait to get our drinks was pretty long so if youโ€™re in a rush, may not be such a good idea?

Not sure if itโ€™s still like that - alternatively, get the drip tea bags which are perfect for office!

Healthier selection of drinks here! I really enjoyed the lemongrass kombucha which was very refreshing, comes with chia seeds and aloe Vera. Absolutely loved the crunchy chestnut pearls - these over bbt pearls anytime!

Complete your toasts with coffee by Anther, same folks behind The Glasshouse. The mocha I had was quite mild, and my dining partners also had a really good cold brew tea.

Was a little daunted by the amount of milk in both but they turned out pretty good!

No option to select your sugar level for Taro as itโ€™s fixed at 50% but it was thankfully not too sweet. We liked how fragrant it was and had bits of real taro for a little texture. I thought it would have been a little jelak but the buddy proved me wrong and finished it all by herself. Having said that, I do think it might be one of the best around - usually itโ€™s disappointingly artificial, but please let me know if you have a good recommendation!

While Taro is nice, my pick would be the Matcha Azuki. Recommended sugar level of 30% and less ice, but I went ahead for 0% (yes Iโ€™m the kind of person who drinks 0% sugar level bbt with no pearls most of the time ๐Ÿ˜‚). I loved that it was mildly bittersweet, complemented with a little sweetness from the plump Azuki!

(Edit: brought the mother to try and she enjoyed the matcha azuki! For someone who stays away from sweet stuff, 0% was just right for her๐Ÿ˜Š)

Thankfully it wasnโ€™t a long wait - somehow the milk doesnโ€™t taste as fragrant, pearls arenโ€™t as chewy as I like but I liked the fact that they made the pearls on site! Flavour of the brown sugar isnโ€™t as pronounced though sweetness is fine. Not a huge fan, so I probably wouldnโ€™t be queuing for it when it officially opens in my hood ๐Ÿ˜•

Chanced upon Miss Kefir on a hot day, went in for Kombucha and happily came out with this Happy Hops ($7.50, and you get $0.5 off if you return their bottle on the next trip!) ๐Ÿ™‚ Was pleasantly surprised that it really tasted like beer with a nice hint of passionfruit-like flavour, fizzy and slightly sour/ sweet; very refreshing!
