Only In Eastern Europe
A balance of unhealthy with healthy 😊 my Nutella tart with a bowl of mixed fruits.
#midweekmacarons from a local supermarket in Salzburg. They tasted much better than the ones I had last week and at a fraction of the price, only 6 euros for 12.
We didn't manage to go up to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle (the castle that Disney modeled after) as the bus service was not running today. So we had ourselves a coffee stop at a local cafe with latte macchiato, cappuccino, blueberry crumble and strawberry marmalade tart.
The original Sacher-Torte from Cafe Sacher. These yummy cakes are still produced by hand as they were in the 19th century. We ate one and went back to buy another. Too bad we are unable to buy it home. The cake is so rich and moist you can't get enough of it!
Famous original shop for renowned Austrian Mozart chocolates. One chocolate for 1Euro.
One of the many different kinds of biscuits we have seen so far during our holiday here. Not very sure what it's called. Coconut biscuit, chocolate cream and waffle, coated with chocolate.
#eggporn I tried the soft boiled eggs because I thought they were our half boiled eggs but they are different. Kind of hard boiled on the outside but soft in the inside.
Missed lunch due to shopping at factory outlet stores, so I grabbed an apple cinnamon pretzel. Wasn't a very smart thing to eat and walk in the rain when the wind was blowing my hair all over my face.
Homemade blueberry muffins ❤️ their chocolate ones were just as good and fluffy.
Hungarians love their chocolates! Crepe with chocolate and icing. We got really good chocolate bars in Hungary!
We had a 7 hour journey to Budapest, Hungary and a stopover in the middle at Slovakia. What did we do during the stopover? Shopping for Christmas cookies! The designs are really pretty and you can pretty much find them at all Christmas markets in Europe!
Who wants chocolate wafers?
