This is quite an institution in these parts. I waited about 20 minutes for my dinner.

Excellent egg tarts! Have it with a cup of coffee from Ah Weng Koh. The Pasar Baru Bukit Bintang where these are found is hard to locate and crawling full of Singaporeans, but definitely worth checking out. The market is closed on Mondays.

Perfect for the inevitably sweltering weather, even without ice.

This was so good! The KL Hokkien mee and BBQ chicken wings here were excellent too.

A must-try classic at this institution! Find out more about their roast pork and order in advance if you can too. And it’s closed on Mondays, as I found out the hard way.

I ordered too much, else this would be good, but not famous-good. The noodles didn’t get soggy. This kopitiam also has good coffee and teh c special.
