Hong Kong
The vegetable soup was very light and tasty. Duck egg omelette was crispy but quite oily. Small portion is actually quite big! The claypot rice was simple and comforting. The chicken was super tender. The diff between the two pots is just the mushroom and the lap cheong (in which they did not cut for us as its meant to be individual portion)
The prawns were super crunchy as usual but the skin could be thinner.
The 双皮奶 was better than the one at Yee Shun and the eggs and toast set was just yummy! Comfort food at its best!
For cafe lovers, it's a must visit. A quaint cafe that specializes in tea.
Try the chicken cutlet noodles and pork chop bun. And you cannot miss their famed 丝袜奶茶!
Awesome place to chill out. Drinks taste good and view was even better
Another one that is voted as HK's best egg tart. This was serve cold. I believe it would taste much better when it's fresh out from the oven. Personally think it's quite meh and doesn't live up to the hype.
Char siew was chewy with the right amount of fats and lean meat and roasted to perfection. Request for the spring onion sauce that is usually given when people order roasted chicken only. It makes the rice extra fragrant!
