Places I Want To Visit!
remind me again, why do we keep trying new tapas places when we already found the best long ago?
Really yummy!
The slick sauce is rather sweet, but it also carries a spicy punch that's quite addictive. Panko crumbs add a surprising crunch. Also visibly laden with large chunks of firm crabmeat.
It's been three years since I last dined here, but I'm pleased to report that the crabmeat linguine here is still every bit as epic as I remember it to be. Ultra-creamy sauce with a hint of tomato stirred in and tossed with an abundance of crabmeat chunks.
A must-order appetizer if you love all things cheese! What an irresistible dish, a perfect combination of gooey salty cheese with sweet honey and sliced almonds. Don't miss this. $16
Starring a long strip of melt-in-the-mouth pork belly glazed with caramelised yakitori sauce. Noms.
Available a la carte during dinner hours, but so much more worth it during lunch when it's slightly cheaper AND comes with udon and miso soup. The mammoth bowl includes five types of raw fish (including ootoro!), scallop, shrimp, sea urchin, crab claw, egg rolls, fishcake, and loads of salmon roe. All super fresh and utterly delightful.
A signature dish of Lolla's, this deserves all the accolades it's received. Fresh sea urchin (or uni) is heaped on top of a slightly firm black squid-ink custard. Superb.
