Sweet Endings
January exclusive @baristartcoffee_sg would be their Coffee Cream Puff (1 for $6, 3 for $16.50).
Lovely choux pastry puff with a nice crisp shell and thick generous luxurious cream. Coffee cream taste was light and milky. It’s a pretty big puff that I recommend for sharing!
@heyteasg still one of my favourite BBT stores in SG. Recently tried out their Very Grape Cheezo ($9.50!!) for a midweek treat!
Taste honestly was pretty good, and great combination of cheese foam and grapes! But my heart broke abit when I paid $9.50 for this (that’s almost $10 for a cup).
Will you pay for this?
Kiseki Pancakes Matcha ($19.80) - this was probably one of my favourite as it was one of the not so sweet options. The bitterness pairs off well with the slight sweetness of the pancakes.
Go for the Millennial Strawberry ($20.80) while you are there as this is only available till end of this month (30 Nov)! One of the lighter options as it comes with 2 pancakes stacked up with strawberry fillings.
Craving badly for ice cream after dinner today and decided to walk to get some. Lucky for me, I have @sugartreegelato within 5-10 minutes walk!
Did my homework before going and snagged a weekend offer for Double Scoops ($7.80).
Pistachio was sooooo good! Even the picky 🐻 said it was good!
They have interesting flavours like the Black Hawaii (charcoal coconut) and the Sea Salt, avocado or the popcorn. They also have their usual basic flavours Like chocolate, matcha and strawberry.
If you are looking for fluffy waffles, Skip the waffles here as it’s Mochi-like and is denser than usual
Great for an after meal drink - choose between Smoothie/ cold pressed juice.
Had the tarty Immunity Booster (Apple, orange, grapefruit, kale) and their Avocado Smoothie which was really yummy.
Their medium sized froyo, that includes one topping. Additional toppings at $1-$1.40 each. Better than expected, the base was really tasty with the right amount of sweetness/sourness.
So egg-cited to be finding Strawberry Watermelon Cake ($7.50) @twobakerssg - a piece of juicy watermelon sandwiched between cream and a flaky almond “lady finger” like pastry. Interesting rendition but I still prefer c&c’s more.
I suppose so...I would probably enjoy this more if the price was lower cause technically they are just really fluffy flavoured 雞蛋糕 (egg cake). Didn’t have a photo, but the pandan Flavour really taste like our usual pandan chiffon cake but twice or trice the price at $10.90.
The cheese added a nice savoury touch to the very very eggy cake. Prefer this over the original one ($9.90).
