Japanese Food Yay! 🎌

For $16 nett, I have huge and thick slices of sashimi on top of my rice. Generous servings of sashimi and I have a few pieces of sashimi left after I have finished my rice 😂 every piece of sashimi is juicy, thick, sweet and fresh! Makes me want to head down right now to have a bowl straight away (though I just had my really full lunch 😄)

For this set of goodness, $14.90 (tax & GST not added yet). The pork pieces are thick & juicy! What's not to love is that if you're a Jap Rice lover, they provides free flow of Jap Rice for every set you order 😉 I must say, I always love their salad, super super yummy! Overall, affordable jap food, what are you waiting for!:)

No words can explain my love for salmon, be it cooked, steamed, grilled and raw 😍 this is soooo good when it's paired with my fav mentaiko sauce! (Scream if you love mentaiko too!) fell in love at first taste when I had mentaiko and it's oh-so-good. This plate of goodness is pretty affordable to satisfy your cravings temporarily! 😋

It's a small bowl of goodness that my friend ordered. Sounds simple, looks simple, taste fabulous. I simply love the sauce that drizzles on this bowl. It's just appetizing! And the thick chunks of tender charsiew is placed all over the bowl. $8.50 for this bowl plus a soup, not too bad for Jap dining! I'm so gonna eat one bowl of this on my own next time! Hehe!

Burrple's location is down so I'll type this location here. It's at Bugis +, Ramen Champions. It has various stores selling ramen all at this place. It works something like Marche. This bowl, totally reminds me of Japan, but I still miss Ichiran. The noodles are not too bad, pretty springy, the egg was FAB, it didn't even break while I was stirring the whole bowl of noodles. The soup is frangrant and thick in broth with pig bones (I guess?) They are very generous with their serving of pork slices. However on the bad side, the soup is really salty and I didn't like their spring onions (those in Japan were damn good, and cause I really don't like spring onions). The soup was tad oily as well, which makes it quite hard to savour more of the soup. On an overall basis, I'll love to visit there and try the other stores! ☺️

My belief: always try the original. So I tried the White broth. It is really good, I believe so cause there were quite a lot of Japanese having their meals there. The broth is thick and flavorful, the chashu is really good, soft and full of fragrant, just want to have more and more of it. I love the beancurd skin at the side. It just absorbs all the broth and eating it is just shiokalaosai! 😁 try it whenever you have the chance! 😉
