Ho Hung Kee is a 1 Michelin star restaurant that serves really good porridge. Porridge is smooth and silky, that you can't even feel the rice grain. Porridge is prepared so well that it has this sweet fragrant taste of all the ingredients together.

This is way better than the overrated Australian dairy, with better service too. But it doesn't serve those milk/egg puddings. Nonetheless, scrambled eggs are perfectly done and go so well with their thick toast!

This is the best croissant ever!!!! With that layer of po lo, it makes everything so good. It comes in chocolate, brûlée, almond, po lo and original flavor. Coffee here is good too. Chilling at the cafe with the typhoon 3 signal up at hk.

Tsui Wah is a 24hr Hong Kong cafe which you can't miss when you are in HK. They have a wide spread of choices from local to western food. Most ppl order their condensed milk bun which is commonly found in HK cafes. But I prefer the buns from this other old and famous cafe -- Lan Fong Yuen, which are smaller and more crisp.

This bowl of goodness I proudly call the world's best claypot rice. The wok hei, the rice, the sauce, the meat, everything is beyond words. Now I can only dream and salivate......

溏心皮蛋。Look at how translucent the egg is, and the yolk is soft not like the usual dry looking ones. I'll always da pao a few boxes to savor them slowly back in SG :)

This 1 Michelin star hot pot place has some unique soup base for your hot pot night. I tried their tomato egg soufflé soup base which was refreshing and not too jelat/oily. Their fishballs, meatballs, seafood balls are freshly made, huge and QQ! The best part, it's 50% off after 9pm on their ala-carte items!
