Japanese Food
Black Truffle Ramen is such a new interesting dish. Its rich truffle taste may not be favourable for all but definitely worth a try.
Just some great katsu dishes hidden in the basement of taka. Pork meat cooked in bread crisps is just awesome with the various japanese sauces.
Oyako Don with miso soup. Mainly it's chicken and rice with half boiled egg on top with seaweed. I love their chilli powder so you can see I've put a lot of that too haha! Maybe I was v hungry but this is so good. Love it how the egg is still soft and half boiled for me to mix with the rice and chicken and everything wasn't too dry. Damn shiokkkkk as Singaporeans will say haha.
For a day of craving some noodle soup. This satisfied it. Haha. Their new promotional ramen. Sadly ramen is never cheap if not I would have it all the time when I can and when I want something hot and soupy.
For big eaters like me and bf, we had a impromptu Suki-ya lunch. Lunch is cheaper and even cheaper on weekdays. Apparently it's 17++ a person usually, but they had some promotion that the second person is only 11.90!!! Funny we were too hungry that we didn't know till we had to pay the bill. It's really worth the price. We took lots if meat, really a lot for just 2 people and add veg to make the soup better. They have 6 kinds of jap style soup to cater those who like spicy and non spicy kinds, even the one for Shabu-shabu. It was a great experience there too. Good food, good price.
