15 Spots For Gentlemen's Night Out (Part 2)

The Seriously Man team has returned to bring you a sequel to our first list of brocations for a fun night out.

Russian-themed lounge is the new kid on the block, but you Bros are going to have every reason to check this place out on a weekend. The display picture above is one of them. DOM promises you nothing short of a night of glitz and glamour replete with VIP treatment and bottle popping services (with sparklers and hot babes). Although it operates as a tea lounge by day, expect nothing short of high fidelity music and three dimensional effect lighting by night.

With probably the longest bar in Singapore, there won’t be any worries about not having the place to check out the ladies from. For the club enthusiasts, get ready to party the night away with your bros in this 6000 square foot underground club. Plus, with its maximum capacity of 220 people, you might just get lucky.

For the die-hard English fans, the recommendation of this bar will come as no surprise. Lend Rooney and Gerrard your never-ending support alongside countless English supporters at The Penny Black. We understand that a supporter never cheers on an empty stomach, so munch on some corn chips and slush some beer whilst you egg the Three Lions on.

With World Cup ‘round the corner, we understand that nothing would be better than hanging out with your Bros, a couple pints of ice-cold beer and mouth-watering food that includes both main courses to tapas whilst shouting “referee kayu!”

If you like the idea of affordable tapas to go with equally affordable booze, then Wine Connection would be THE chill out place. Wine enthusiasts, take note: whether you're on the red or white camp, light-bodied or heavy-bodied, you guys would be delighted at the range of wine selection. Our only complains? Having to scream over the din of the crowd and booming club hits.

Let's say it's already the end of the month and cash flow is running dry. But you can't quite avoid it when your Bros browbeat you into coming out and enjoying the city view with a pint. Well, The Mad Men is the place for you. Enjoy bar bites such as their famous Truffle Fries and Miso Butter Prawns as you take in the view. Not in the mood for beer? Give their Black Forest Mojito a try. The Mad Men is also big on live music, perfect for a little sing-along. If you Bros even do that kinda thing, that is.

Sure, with all the Japanese vibes along the amber lit entrance hallway, there's absolutely nothing kinky about this place. You’ll get to take your chilling session with your bros to Kinki’s very own rooftop bar. To top it off, enjoy house pours and wines at the bar’s one for one rate (5p.m-8.p.m on weekends).

With an increase in preference for rooftop bars, this quaint Italian bar thus serves as the supply for this demand. Once the clock strikes twelve, draft beers and housepours will start going at 1 for 1. Take things slow and enjoy the city view with your Bros over beer and pizza. And maybe pasta. With so many clubs in the hood, you don't have to worry about ending the night early.

There’s always time and room for desserts and nothing fits the bill more than this quaint restaurant with its variety of desserts and late closing hours.

Satisfy that sweet tooth of yours with the array of unique dessert creations by renown chef Janice Wong before washing them down with some moscato. If not, there’s always beer to fall back on.

What better place is there to treat yourself and your bros to gastronomic oysters than the Oyster Bar? With live music (only on selected Fridays and Saturdays) and a view overlooking the Marina Bay waterfront, chilling session has just been taken up to a whole new level.

If you’re feeling slightly more generous and wish to treat yourselves to fine cut steaks, Skirt is the restaurant. Its signature 250g Skirt Steak goes at $48 while other affordable cuts include 250g Irish Grass-fed Sirloin at $35.

Hanging out with a bunch of meat lovers? L’Entrecote, one of the value-for-money steakhouses in town (in our opinion) is the place to visit. Its one main course only is not only intriguing but is also something to rave about. I mean one main course? The steak must be good. The restaurant adheres to a strict no reservation policy so do keep this in mind.
