A newly opened bakery/ cafe in tiong bahru, specializing in cakes, cupcakes and macaroons. Whole and sliced cakes are available. Nicely done place, not many seats, lovely rooftop for cool evenings.
An absolutely gorgeous place for weekend brunch, or dinner and drinks with the girls, Skyve serves great food in a relaxed yet classy ambience. Think sous vide eggs benedict, truffle fries, duck confit, beef short ribs- in a large space with turquoise chairs and white tables.
First day of opening, and we couldn't wait to be the first customers! ;) Happy to have a neat little cafe so near home. Lovely decor, but very limited items on the menu for now, shall check back again soon.
With a consistently high standards of food at good value, it's no surprise D.O.C is packed to the brim on weekends (make reservations). Go for the buttermilk waffles if you're in the mood for something sweet, or the breakfast platter that never fails to please. This relatively new cafe oozes oodles of industrial-chic goodness, complete with the original Telok Ayer Chung Hwa Free Clinic store front. Dig into My Awesome Salad ($15), which comes with a generous portion of greens, smoked salmon, avocado, chicken breast, duck rilettes and tomatoes for a healthy lunch break. This newly opened cafe in Clarke Quay certainly brightens up your mood with their vibrant yellow cups and cheerful ambience. They serve premium coffee pulled from the top-of-the-line La Marzocco Strada machine, along with simple pastries, waffles and ciabatta lunch sets. While located on a busy road, Assembly Coffee manages to remain a lovely little nook full of natural light and good vibes. You'll feel instantly transported in this cosy hideout, complete with good coffee from Liberty beans. Treat yourself to a fluffy Salted Caramel Waffle while reading your favourite book. It's no surprise Ronin serves the best coffee in town, along with sister cafes The Plain and The Bravery. Boasting an ambience of of dark mystery, this is a place for quiet time alone, or a relaxing brunch with your best friend.
