Cafe Hopping - East
We went to The Bark Café at Upper Changi Road!
A tranquil space for this High Tea Set ($17.90++ per perso) which includes a Club Sandwich, Chocolate Truffle or Cheese Cake and a cup of Dilmah Tea.

A hidden gem tucked in the quieter part of Bedok Reservior, Refuel Cafe definitely hits the spot with the Full Tank ($13.90), which comes with scrambled eggs, bratwurst sausage, salad, mushroom and toast (I changed the tomatoes and baked beans for more scrambled eggs). Their scrambled eggs were done masterfully with the right mix of milk and buttery goodness. Special mention for their pancakes too, as it was well executed.
Had the butter beer and watermelon soju ice cream with the famous charcoal waffles. Surprisingly, the salted egg sauce goes very well with everything.
My tastebuds were quick to applaud the fantastic way all the flavours came together in this brunch item. In particular, I really liked the addition of spinach to the scrambled eggs. And that rich, creamy house-made dill aioli was swoon-worthy.
No more being the odd one out when we stand on chairs to capture this shot 😂
Pretty mud pies are going at $5.50 each at this quaint cafe, and there are tiramisu jars and coffee available too! Liked the fact that the cafe has natural light and good to photograph too 😁
French toast was pretty moist at its flavors that was offered to us, at their unique combination of caramelized banana came in perfectly which has given a pretty smooth ending aftertaste😛
Loved the ambience of the cafe!! It has a rustic feel in the front porch, but yet it has seats as well which had natural lights at the back of the cafe. The main highlight was that they had Thai milk loaf, which really represented the Thai milk tea taste really well! The Earl Grey Citrus loaf was good as well, as the loaves were really soft and yet yummy. You may even select the origin and how you want your coffee to be made at the cafe! This will be a cafe i foresee myself visiting more often :)
My eyes lit up when I saw this! 😍😍
From a new cafe in soft launch phase at 301 Changi Road named Brewer's Collective. They use Common Man Coffee Roaster blends here, and surprisingly the cold brew turns out well-balanced. There was a fruity punch yet nutty finish, but it was not too overwhelming and never left too much an aftertaste in the mouth too! Currently payment is by tip-basis, so do tip reasonably!
With a good ambiance, The Bravery is a good place to chill at - especially on weekdays when there isn't much of a crowd. The English Breakfast tea is pretty well-bodied and as it should, comes with a small serving of milk which blends well with the tea.
