Indian's version of ice-cream but denser & creamier. It's like eating frozen condensed milk. A (very) sweet treat to end the meal!

Introducing Maharajah's Tandoori Platter - Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka, Malai Kebab and Lamb Tikka. The chicken tikka was tender and the lamb tikka was not gamey at all. In fact, everything was flavorful with right amount of spices.

Layered oven casserole with minced mutton. Layers of eggplant & minced mutton topped with Béchamel sauce and baked. Somehow, it reminds me of lasagna. This dish is rich & creamy. Might feel "jerlat" after awhile. Best to share among few people.

Turkish Baked Eggplant topped with mixed vegetables & cheese. Not really a fan of eggplant. The eggplant was kinda mushy.

Icli Kofte or Turkish Meatballs - Lean minced mutton encased in torpedo shaped fried croquette made of bulgur (cracked wheat). This dish is slightly on the drier side. The mutton's kinda flavorful thou'.

Close up of Ottoman's version of Shakshuka, a new addition to their menu soon.

For starters, we had Babaganoush, Pide & Shakshuka. Babaganoush is a Levantine dish. Basically, aubergine (commonly known as egglant/brinjal) is baked over an open flame before peeling the skin. The end result? A soft but NOT mushy pulp with smoky flavour. It's often eaten as a dip with pide (flat bread). Am not a fan of eggplant but I kind of like this dip as it doesn't have strong eggplant taste, is creamy and somehow reminds me of another popular dip, hummus.

Pide is a Turkish flat bread that is soft and slight chewy, often eaten with dips. Love the grill lines on the bread.

Ottoman's version of Shakshuka - Of sautéed cube aubergine, onion, carrots, green peppers and tomatoes.

Both the Babaganoush & Shakshuka are part of the new menu that Ottoman Kebab will be introducing in a few weeks' time.
