Snacks Yo
Pillowy-soft buns with a sweet, hearty, meaty char siew filling. Ahhhhh i miss it already. I would return just for this.
This 叉烧肠粉 is one of the best in town and definitely deserved a shout out. The uniqueness of this dish is the sauce they use, not your normal soya sauce finishing. Price at $3.80.
So after hearing people talk about it for so many times, I finally made my way down to try it. The bun was good with the skin not too thick and the amount of filling was quite okay. Good but not there are better ones elsewhere. (: I guess the good point is the opening hours (6pm-6am) and the price is reasonable hence it attracts a lot of people mostly youngsters to go. But do go early cuz you wouldn't want to wait too long for seats.
Finally had a chance to eat the yummy dim sum here that everyone was raving about. Being singaporean all me and friends wanted to take a photo of the food, so by the time we ate some were a lil cold. But it was good that our food didn't take long despite the quite packed dinner crowd. I'm glad I had a fair of almost everything. Loved the Xiao Long Bao, the Har Gao, Carrot Cake and the Liu Sha Bao (which is salted egg yoke custard bun, just that I didn't expect it to be slightly sweet). It's value for money if you're a big eater and you're going with friends. So you can share and eat more variety.

A killer combo of charcoal-grilled juicy pork belly and "yuzu kosho". The latter is made from the peel of the "yuzu" citrus fruit and chilli peppers, creating a zesty, very spicy and salty paste. I find it tastes exceptionally delicious with meat.
