Claypot rice cooked in an earthen pot, with ingredients including chicken, chinese sausages (lup cheong), waxed pork and bits of salted fish. The rice has characteristics of a good claypot rice -an aromatic, smoky flavour and crispy rice crusts at the bottom of the pot. Best to call before heading down as the waiting time for the claypot rice is 25 mins. We called & was served within 10-15mins.

Ampang Niang Tou Fu at East Coast, which serves their deep fried items in a plain light soup with soya beans. The crispy tau kee and fishballs are my favorite items in this dish, though I prefer the one at Thomson with its gooey gravy.

Noodles were smooth and chewy but fish slices were slightly fishy. Chili was very spicy! Broth was very tasty

Finally I'm here to try Arnold's fried chicken, specially marinated and deep fried till golden brown. They are really πŸ‘

There are two kinds of people in life: those who like their hokkien mee wet, and those who prefer it dry. But Nam Sing may just please both crowds. Each spoonful brims with the aromatic, umami-rich prawn seafood stock that has been patiently fried with the noodles. Served simply with cut red chili, soy sauce, squeeze the lime all over to brighten up this dish, and slurp up this perfectly moist plate of noodles. Give them a ring before you go down, or count on your luck for them to be open, as they close the stall as they wish.

It's become a weekly affair (yes it's that good!) Prices range from $1-$3+ (overall still cheaper than 126, swee choon etc..)

Update: they've increased their prices to $3+ :(
