Last night's dinner
First time having chilli crab πŸ¦€ (S$40/ 800 grams) with live crab πŸ¦€ from the display shelves in an Indian restaurant.
Something that's common in Chinese Seafood restaurants but not in Indian restaurants.
Interestingly there was Indian kitchen and Chinese kitchen in this restaurant.

The fish 🐟 head curry πŸ› (S$30/ big) which used whole Ang Goh Li (ε€šη‰™η΄«ι±Ό Goldbanded Job Fish) fish 🐟 head, was cooked in the Indian kitchen with touch up in the Chinese kitchen before serving.

Legendary Food Trails with Celebrity Chefs
One of the tours in Singapore Heritage Festival 2017
The tour was led by celebrity Chef Sultanul Ariffin (A celebrity chef on local broadcast channels, Vasantham and Oli 96.8, with 30 years of experience in the culinary world.). There was no sight of Spice Queen Chef Devagi Sanmugam who was named in the description of the tour. While it was written on the description that the tour included savour Little India's famous eateries' offerings, the above dish was the only dish served, accompanied with ginger milk tea.
At S$18 per person, it was one of the most expensive tours in this year's Singapore Heritage Festival.
Felt that it did not deliver as promised.

Guided tour of Sri Layan Sithi Vinayagar Temple
One of the tours in Singapore Heritage Festival 2017
It ended with a meal of vadai, fried bee hoon and hot coffee.

Thair Vadai Set (S$4.60)
Vadai (doughnut made from lentil and onion ), dipped in yogurt.
Interestingly the Vadai did not turn mushy. It held its shape well and was moist and soft inside, topped with crispy bits.
