Ordered the 三拼set to savor all their meat and $1.50 more to try duck so why not hor. Then thought add egg also not bad so bam, this plate of rice costs $10. Is decent just pretty expensive.

Rolled over last weekend to try and I guess I found my best alternative after Bami express.
Personally, my vote goes to Bami as it is on the heavier side - in terms of taste (and more generous on the chicken liver pate).
Bread wise, both are really crusty so nothing to hiam and it is more affordable over here too. Best of all, they are open daily till late!!! (bami only opens for 5 hrs on weekdays 🥺🥺)
MALA in CBD area with Spicy Chicken ( 辣子雞), Crispy Fermented Pork Belly, Fried Kang Kong and Salted Egg Chicken.
It was a little spicy for me. Portion wise,could be bigger
Really enjoyed their breakfast with soft and fluffy toast, perfectly cooked eggs.
We rolled over after seeing it on Burpple. Sadly no buy one free one so we tried what we like.
Apart from the Mango Shrimp Roll that make me nod my head, I guess the rest is just medicore.

Saw this newly open Tempura Tendon on my social media and decided to give it a try.
Went down at 2.30pm, thinking that I could avoid the lunch crowd but wek, I'm wrong. We waited for an hour (with me spending all those time in Don Don).
Food arrived very quickly upon order. We had the Tori Tendon (I love this ) and a Premium Udon along with truffle fries and Hokkaido Soft Serve.
The Tendon is so well executed. I literally cleaned the whole bowl. The chicken breast is surprisingly tender!!! Udon wise, it is very smooth and springy. Though the cost is 1.5x more than the tendon, I would still order it again.
Truffle fries is a miss. You could smell it when it arrives and then nothing else.... Probably a nice price tag.
Hokkaido Soft Serve is decent too. I guess if you read till here, you will know that I rate highly of this place. So damn affordable.

After hearing a mix of reviews about their Egg tarts, I finally got the chance to try it!
Elder sis bought the cookie pastry along with polo bun for $13.20, which imo, is high-priced.
Gobbled up the first egg tart and I don't think it hits the spot. The egg filling is not as fragrance as TC (ps, this is my benchmark), though the cookie pastry has its own uniqueness. Polo miss that crunchiness at the top. Thus, I feel this is a miss for me.
Sis tried their Milk Tea last night and she said it is good??? Lmao we are going over to buy it soon. 🥺🥺

They probably nailed the mentaiko series and nothing else. Tried the new mini salmon don (which comes with onsen egg) but i don't think it's worth to be place on the menu...

Tried to be healthier this week and ordered my DIY Grilled Chicken bowl with soba, kimchi, broccoli,sous vide egg and cooked prawn. Lol is literally a dissapointment for this, and I don't see a point in adding the sauce when it's good by itself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

$4.50 for handmade noodles? WHY NOT!! Its hard to find handmade MHK nowadays since machine increases their productivity .. BUT BUT BUT they should sell this everywhereeeee holy it's a reminiscent of your mum's food. I would be glad to eat this everyday.

Their crust are really buttery and crispy while the fillings are not overpowering sweet yet light and smooth.
Thank you @frezzelpretzel for buying these yummy yummy food back home. Feels like popping by their outlet soon. I miss the feel of eating in a Cha Chan Teng with my Curry Fishball, Bolo Bun and Yuan Yang Tea.
