At Spathe, communal dining is where it's at. We're talking about their Mammoth SIgnatures: think metre-long sausages and pizzas. Quality is definitely not compromised by quantity here. Tanyoto, a popular steamboat chain from Sichuan, has been in Singapore for a few years. Compared to many other steamboat eateries, its prices are on the high side. Which is why the "supper a la carte buffet" is pretty good value for money. At $32.40++ per adult (weekday rate, add $2 for weekends and holidays), you get to pick from a rather extensive menu that includes different types of seafood, meat, vegetables, mushroom, beancurd etc. I highly recommend the Sichuan dumplings (they have a tasty juicy filling), sliced beef (very lean cut) and the beef balls (it is served as a paste for you to scoop spoonfuls to drop into the boiling soup). There're a few options for the soup with the popular ones being the signature tomato and the spicy "mala". For me, the highlight of this restaurant is the mix-and-match-your-dip section. They provide a mind-boggling range of condiments with everything from soya sauce, vinegar and satay sauce to oils (both sesame and garlic) to sesame paste and fresh-cut parsley and spring onions. Chilli paste "made from a secret recipe", mini roasted peanuts plus raw minced garlic are just a few more of what's available for you to concoct your dip to your heart's content with. Seriously fun dining experience coupled with quality ingredients make this my go-to destination when I feel like having steamboat.

#Latergram- Korean feast two nights ago. The Haemul Buchu jeon (pancake made with finely cut chives and seafood) was so good, best eaten hot!

Yummy and hearty breakfast! The Pegasus Breakfast Platter - A nice plate of everything! Crispy bacon, toast, scrambled egg, tomatoes, salad, smoked salmon, duck breast and egg with minced beef! Wow! :)

Yoogane chicken galbi ($16.90) which has a min. order of two servings! But you won't regret it. The sauce is super good! Added on a combination tteokbokki which included regular rice cakes, sweet potato rice cake and mozzarella stuffed ones! Mad love the last two one okay!! The chicken stew ($16.9) as compared to the chicken galbi didn't fared as good. Somehow the stew lacked flavor. Last was the special fried rice ($15.9) - a combination of seafood (mainly squid), beef and chicken mixed evenly with the cheese and the sauce, I liked this as well, especially when I get the glorious strands of melting cheese messy like how I eat Mac and cheese. Will be back to satisfy my korean craving! They also have free flow of korean side dishes like kimchi 👍 service was attentive as well!

Ate at pique nique twice main dish doesn't taste nice, go for their deserts sticky date and brownie is good 💕
