Famed for their Korean BBQ over charcoal, you definitely wanna order some BBQ meat besides the usual stew pots and Korean dishes. The entire meal was fuss free and there will actually be someone stationed at table-side to BBQ your meat to ensure you get the best grilled experience without the oily stench on your clothes or oil splattering all over your hands. Served with a long platter of different fresh greens, the chilled leafy vegetables was an excellent complement to the grilled meats.

The pancake was chewy and came piping hot, providing a good contrast with the ice cream and berries. Overall, I think I am better off sticking to the traditional pancakes and waffles.

A boutique cake shop selling artisanal desserts such as this Romance which is a cake with blueberry cream cheese mousse, strawberries confit and poached blueberries on top. Presentation-wise it totally hit the mark but taste-wise, it didn't impress as the flavours were very mild.

The Mango Bingsu (RM 26.80) comes with a mountain of shaved milk, huge chunks of mango cubes, raisins, a cup of milk and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream to complete this Korean dessert. Not necessarily at the most accessible location, but definitely an excellent choice for a hideout against the scorching sun outside.

Be it sweet or savoury, they definitely have you covered in terms of options. We opted for the Berries & Chocolate (RM 18.90), which comes with a short stack of pancakes and a host of berries and chocolate-related condiment such as berries compote, brownies and chocolate crumble. A scoop of vanilla ice cream made it into the plate, providing the essential lightness for the entire dessert. However, the pancakes were underwhelming as ours came dense and hard, not the usually soft fluffy ones that you would expect.

Many thanks to my supplier who brought us here for lunch after a press check at the printers, this is a zhi char restaurant located in an ulu part of the industrial estate at Iskandar Malaysia. Highly recommended by my supplier and his staff, the Honey Garlic Chicken Wings was wiped out clean within minutes. Chicken wings were first deep fried before being coated evenly with a honey garlic sauce. The glistering glow is making my mouth water right now.
