This Omakase course consists of 16 small dishes and every one is delicious to taste and pleasing to the eye. Very fresh fishes and good combination of sauces for each dish. Chef Tsuzuki really knows how to please the customers.

Inside Every, a Japanese mini mart is a cafe that sells good Japanese styled western food like this beef and chips. Tender beef and good sized chips.

Loved this chicken hotpot and was back again to see there’s any drop. None at all. The chicken collagen stock is just as strong and smooth. Chicken is well tender and juicy. Love all the fresh vegetables put in to add more flavour. If you have try this then go queue and see what’s an excellent chicken stock soup is really like. There’re other dishes to try too.

When this dish was presented it just looked like a pie or something like that. Then after we dug in and eat it we were very pleasantly surprised. It’s string (julienne) potatoes that looks like noodles. The spicy mentaiko added the flavour and overall we each said we can have it as a carbo dish. Very yummy.

This is an authentic Japanese izakaya Restuarant with good chicken or beef hotpot. It seems you’re transported to Japan upon entering this eatery. The bartering in Japanese, the interior and the food just made me think I’m in Japan. Food is definitely very Japanese with grilled bonita, mackerel, clam soup with sake and silver fish rice. So if you want to try authentic Japanese izakaya then this is the place to try.

Often when we dine in a restaurant we do not realise the long process of food preparation by the team of chefs is the end results of the dishes you have on the table. More so in restaurants where the executive chef has to plan the entire food experience and ensure that each member of his team comes up with their speciality and then put the different items to create the end product. Hence the quality of the food is based not just on the quality of the ingredients but also the excellent efforts of the chefs.
Maetomo Restuarant & Bar in Sheraton Towers has such a great team. Knowing some of the chefs in that team make me realise the price of the Omakase meal is truly based on the excellent ingredients and skills of the team chefs. Each dish is an art in itself. Not only does each dish look pleasing to the eyes, it’s also very delectable to the palate. Feast the eyes first then your palate. Oishi! Chef Maetomo leads his team well and our dining experience is par excellence.

Cast iron sounds doesn’t seem like a Japanese Restuarant but it is. And the sashimi is very good and fresh too. From tuna to Tai the fishes represented a true Japanese cuisine. However the grill dishes are just as great too.

Heard a lot about this and now it’s nearer home so came to try. It’s really a different pot of soup from other ramen. The combination of lemon butter and oyster paste kept the soup consistently full of oyster flavour. Two pluses are the char sio is thin and tender and the soup is not overwhelmingly salty unlike most ramen I had. Great ramen.

Very nice Japanese sandwich with wagyu beef. The sandwich was coated with uni on one side and butter on the other. It was really yummy!

This is made with lots of ingredients such as bacon, beef, seafood etc and is enough for 4 pax if you have other items. Or you can have just pork (bacon) or beef or seafood. This Japanese pancake or some called Japanese pizza is made with flour, eggs and other carbo as the base. Then the chosen ingredients are piled on it and pan fried. It usually takes about 30 minutes to cook one. End product is yummy umami.
