This is probably one of, if not, THE BEST char Siew in the whole of PJ and KL!!! Tender, succulent, juicy, fatty pieces of char siew melts on the tip of your tongue as you slurp on their signature Hakka mee. Truly a match made in food heaven!!!

One, coffee and an English breakfast; Two, funny looking animals doing weird stuff on my news feed and three, a nice warm bowl of soup noodles with a cold drink😋. In this case, it's number three!! Yesterday morning, I visited a corner lot "kopitiam" in TTDI called "Restoran Yong Len" and had their famous prawn mee and barley. The prawn mee was amazing!! The soup was spicy and delicious, and the nice lady working in the stall was generous enough to give me extra bean sprouts and chicken slices 😉. (P.S. Please excuse my thumb 🙇)

Cravings satisfied!! After having to go on a diet for a month due to a competition, I've finally got my a taste of my two favourite nyonya dishes, Mee Siam and ABC! The Mee Siam was sour and spicy, kinda like Tomyam but not as spicy. Though a sprinkle of crispy fried onions would have made the dish better, the noodles were already good as it is. The ABC on the other hand was just the way I like it 👌, drenched in Gula melaka and flooded with cendol and kidney beans. The sweet refreshing taste of gula melaka mixed with shaved ice will make you crave for more!!
Mee Siam - RM3
ABC - RM5 (plus 6% tax)

A perfect example of an old traditional done right!! Famous for their yam cakes and traditional hot desserts, Oriental Cravings is also known by the Bandar Utama and Taman Tun locals as one of the best places for Claypot rat tail noodle. Though RM14.90 excluding the 6% tax seems a bit too much to pay for a pot of noodles, but I can assure you that it's worth every cent you pay for! Not only is the serving big, it's also mixed with a generous portion of minced pork and pig lard so that every bite you take has the taste of their good meaty minced pork and a nice crunchy kick to it 😁

Ever had one of those ridiculous late night cravings? The ones where you can only get what you're craving for in the morning at a kopitiam 😂? Well I know I have!! Thank god there's a Chee Cheong Fan stall only opens at night 😁!! Nothing special about the Chee Cheong Fan but it tastes like the amazing dish in the world because I don't have to wait till the next day for it!! They also sell siew mai and loh mai kai as well as drinks like herbal tea 😁
