Waffles, a pass (meaning wasn’t overly fantastic, neither was it sub-par). I liked the sauce and coleslaw that came with it tho.
Aburi Broccoli Salad - while this was so yummy, i wished there were more. The menu did warn you on that too. The burnt taste on broccoli would please anybody who dislikes taste of veggies. Mixed together with some crunchy bits of pappadum, makes you feel like you’re eating chips without feeling guilty. This is one healthy choice that doesn’t taste yucky.
Side note, try not to sit outdoors. Wooden tables seem cheap and i was more worried about getting splinters than anything. And bugs seemed attracted to it too. #sinleefoods .

It’s a flavoured Espresso Ice Ball served with warm milk. At $8.50 a pop, it’s kinda pricey for just a (small) cup of coffee. But, the coffee gets really strong as it melts in the warm milk and it does have the undertone taste of whichever flavour it is (mine’s praline). #therefinerysg

Although the taste and flavours are pretty spot on, the portion are pretty small, even for a small eater like me. But their milkshakes did bring all the boys to yard. It was very rich, decent size, and definitely better quality ingredients than some places I’d been (*cough* posted below) .

I had to try it immediately and that satisfaction when I find it to be (almost) similar to NYC’s is pure happiness. I’ve not tried enough burgers to compare but I rate Omakase’s burgers really high and Burger Joint is its new rival. But what actually stole the spotlight is THE FRIES..!!
