Best Waffles In Town
Would have preferred a slightly fluffier waffle but still a great combination nonetheless! :)
Visually, this waffle extravaganza (+S$2++ for the charcoal-infused waffle) is stunning. Bits of sliced fruits, sauce, shaved cheddar, and yogurt, splashed and drizzled and tossed in every imaginable way - very much their rendition of Monet I suppose. Taste-wise it was unfortunately a tad disappointing. Waffle was dense and dry, and the 'gelato' was icey and one-dimensional. I do love the combination of fresh fruits, tangy yogurt and cheddar though, so this'll be great with some improvements.
The toppings here were pretty simple, old school treats like M&Ms, Kinder Bueno and peanut butter cups, but satisfying nonetheless :)
Had been here without fail every month for the soft-serve because their flavours change monthly. This month's special is Earl Grey and Matcha flavours; both of which available to order individually or in a combined swirl. Personally felt that the Earl Grey felt a tad strong as it overpowered the bitter aroma of Matcha, while it sat atop slightly crisp and soft waffles that is drizzled with a choice of chocolate or maple syrup. It's always fun coming here because every month's flavours have a theme (this month is all about tea), which makes it all exciting for you never know what's coming up the following month.
Featuring The Durian Waffle $17, topped with pure mao shan wang durian flesh, coconut ice cream (😍👍🏼), coconut jelly, condensed milk and coconut flakes. Durian lovers, this is definitely for you. // Thank you @battermaker @mjteo for having us 😊
Nuts + cinnamon + mochi waffles 💕
Opted for the plain buttermilk waffle this time with salted caramel ice cream. Preferred this basic version over other more elaborate options! ($12.50)
Opted for the chewier and softer waffle batter for this, probably would go for the crispy option the next time!
Pretty reasonably priced & crisp but the amount of colouring was pretty scary ($10.50)
Loved that the mochi bits were folded into the batter!!
Perhaps one of the most unusual flavours I've tried! A bright purple yam sauce coupled with sea salt caramel ice cream! A little rich, best when shared! ($12.90)
A stellar combination - earl grey soft serve with a generous sprinkling of salted caramel honeycomb pieces!
