We are lacking of those traditional Kaya-toast these days but I'm really grateful for the older generation who built this traditional food culture in Singapore. Because everywhere just seems to be new-aged just like our playground these days. Don't you agree?

Tong Ah Eating House have been serving good kaya toast and their famous butter kopi since 1939 along Keong Saik Rd and not forgetting they do Zi Char as well!

Let's not forget and treasure this traditional gem of Singapore!

Love the spice of the curry and the crisp of the cutlets? Well, don't resist yourself to try one of the best Hainanese Curry Rice @ Maxwell Market.

China Street Hainanese has been around MM since half a decade ago and they're known for the longest queue during peak hours. A plate of irresistible curry rice is definitely worth the long wait!

This can be one of your awesome lunch ideas to bring your colleagues to when you're around the area ☺️

A good plate of char kway teow served are only achievable when cooked with the heart besides using the right tool.

This uncle from No.18 Zion Road Char Kway Teow has undoubtedly mastered the fine culinary skills judging from the longest queue among all the stalls at Zion Riverside Food Centre.

The combination of ingredients result in a heavenly dish that was pleasantly shocked by the intensity of the flavor with the good mix of sweetness and savory.

No. 18 Zion Road Fried Kway Teow serves one of the drier versions. Whereby, you can taste every single flavor of its own and to enjoy the slight char fragrance which usually only obtainable from frying those wet noodles.

It's amazing to see how the food trend evolved from time to time, but local food fare doesn't. One of the most affordable and good thai food that you can find in Maxwell Food - Sisaket Thai Food.

Sisaket has been in MFC for many years and in my most honest opinion, they serves one of the most amazing thai food with pretty wide selection on their menu which caters to everyone's tastebud. It may seems to be really authentic but what they're offering can be the best deal in town.

I've shared this meal with my buddy, which comes with Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Sambal Kang Kong & their amazing Black Pepper Beef. It comes with two bowl of rice and it cost us only $18!

At the cost $1.50, you get double of what a usual curry puff size is. Having to say their curry puff isn't that outstanding but it's a stop by to have when you're at Maxwell Food Centre.

Food tells a lot about your personality, it's a way how it describe you to be. My weekend hunt with the boys for some BKT therapy. Feels good to be back again, a Remembering Sunday.

Although that's not the best BKT therapy you can get but its one of the best in town! 😄

Look! The crispiness of this pork knuckle. Crunchy & tasty! Totally mind blown by this knuckle when I dined at salute a few days back! Indulging this at a pocket friendly price which gave me reasons to be back soon!

(Personal opinion: I honestly think salute serves the best pork knuckle in town, hands down!)

We all know this is one of the best in town you can have. Located directly opposite GWC (Great World City) and also to be known as one of the oldest hawker centre in Singapore. The western is a must to try, despite the food takes longer than usual but be thoughtful that the folks serving you, have been here more than 20years!

The burger steak tasted so nice that I almost went for second serving 😄

Life is a blessing to have good food around the world! 💥 @wahsogood
