Hong Kong Journey
My bun was actually not warm when it came, but when I bite the bun, the crisp was still there, which was amazing but still would be much better if it was warm. The half-melted butter inside the polo bun was sweet coupled with the bun, it was a good combo overall! Maybe I will give it a try another time if I have the chance to do so again.

They really love adding their black truffle over to the dishes here! (Not complaining 😊) When the dish came, the smell of the black truffle overwhelmed me, it was so strong. The toast, with melted cheese and minced black truffle was okay.. I guess? I don't really like the toast over here in Hong Kong, I find it too thick for my liking. 😌 However, the price is still pretty damn worth it for the black truffle (20HKD~4SGD)

The first bite instantly just took me to heaven, it is so creamy, so fluffy and each mouth still retains its original hotness when it first came.
Topped up with the black truffle, the combo was extremely divine! Oh man, this is really good stuff. Totally worth it anytime. A must try when you come Hong Kong!

😊😊 If I were to compare this scrambled eggs VS capital cafe scrambled eggs, I will choose this over capital cafe for its even slightly milkier taste then theirs.
But if you want scrambled eggs with a twist of fusion, try capital cafe for the topping of black truffle.
NEVERTHELESS, BOTH STILL TASTE SO HEAVENLY. 😋 On a side note: Hong Kong 茶餐厅 food pace is too fast for me to handle, I really prefer to lay back and enjoy my food then to get all the rude and rush treatment from the waiters everywhere staring at me lol. But I guess this is the Hong Kong culture that I have to suck it up. 😑 #Foodphotography #Hkfood
Don't think it's worth it though, char siew was just extremely normal, even Singapore serves better char siew (ChAr Restaurant). However, the crispy roasted pork was good though. Fatty meat and extremely crispy skin! So either come here for its roasted pork or just don't come at all.

Even I hear the local praising the desserts over here: 这里的糖水好好味!
Black Sesame Paste with Peanut Rice Balls. The rice ball is super soft, and once the skin gets teared off, the peanuts just flows so well and the taste is great! The black sesame paste is also very flavorful and smooth too!

I love how the thin noodles tasted so springy and slurpy, and the wonton skin is so delicate it just falls off pretty easily, and the prawn in the dumpling were so tasty! The broth too, were so flavorful. A must try!

The Vermicelli Roll (Chee Cheong Fung) was sooooo smooth and its fresh prawn within definitely makes the whole combo taste so much better, though it's already good on its own! Just look at it!! 😁😋

Oh man, I really love the char siew here, and the sauce is so sweet too! The skin is so crispy and tears so easily when poked! Woooo 😁 P.S: On a side note, read from somewhere this is the branch (深水步)
Just look at the Roasted Goose meat, it's so tender, so succulent and so JUICY! Especially the skin and the fats on it, so crispy and comes off the meat easily! Definitely deserves the many food awards outside the shop. Must must must try 😋!

This place is madness, whatever that has to do with salted egg yolk sauce is the best-seller over here.
So many people 😐
Soft, fluffy buns with oozing egg yolk sauce.

流沙多士 or something like that lol.
All sold out before 4.30pm, really lucky to be one of the last few customer that had this.
The French toast itself was extremely tasty and crispy, and when the toast is cut, the salted egg yolk sauce just OOZE like madness from within the French toast, the combination of both when you have the toast and the sauce is crazy! It was so damn good. Probably nowhere you can find this kind other then in HK. A MUST-TRY for 流沙 lovers!
